This is a spot illustration done for the fairy tale The Riddle. It’s an interesting tale about a raven that ate poison and was then eaten by robbers, who promptly died. The bird itself became the poison and the basis for a riddle told to a princess. The artwork was created in pen and ink.

This illustration was featured in the 2012 Graphic Design Student Show, juried by Auburn alumnus, Ty Wilkins, in which I won the Best of Show & Best Poster awards.
